NAME:
I like autumn afternoons. The sun, when hiding, reddens the clouds. The Wind releases the leaves from the trees which, in soft and sad movements, fall yellow to the ground.
In the air, the afternoon mist mixes with the smell of the roasted chestnuts that are sold here in the garden.
Pigeons hide their heads in the wing, their feathers ruffled.
People rush past, turning up their collars and hiding their hands in their pockets.
Children play dressed in coats and bonnets on their little heads; the swans glide slowly and silently on the lake water, wrinkled by the afternoon breeze… and I fall asleep, after the sparrows have retired.
