There are several reasons! There are people who are born with a disease; others that come into contact with viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa or worms, which cause problems; and there are also cases of illnesses acquired by bad habits, such as drinking alcohol, eating a lot of junk food or smoking – all of which lead to malfunctioning organs or parts of the body. Some illnesses are curable and some are not. The most important thing is, when you feel bad, tell your parents and see a doctor. And no taking medicine on your own!
