That parrot had already traveled halfway around the world and was highly respected in the Malay jungle. Its beautiful plumage, with exotic colors, had aroused the admiration of artists and millionaires. Therefore, his life had been a continual change of owners and environments.
The parrot had reached the pinnacle of success when it was bought by the Maharaja of Jaipur, a very rich man and stunning, which had dozens of palaces covered in gold and precious stones, and which surrounded itself with the most expensive and demanding pleasures.
Wealth, luxury, comfort… the parrot had come to know all that. One day, tired of so many superfluous things, he decided to flee from one of the Maharaja's palaces. After passing through a thousand dangers, he reached the depths of the Malay jungle.
He was welcomed by the numerous animals that populated such dark corners. As he had neither work nor income, the parrot understood that he had to make a living anyway, and he had a happy idea.
"I'll tell everyone the wonders I've ever seen." With these stories, I will brighten the existence of my new neighbors and, at the same time, I will earn enough money to live with dignity! he said to himself.
As he possessed great orator skills, he was soon named poet and singer of the Kingdom of the Jungle. From that moment on, he sowed dreams and hopes in the humble hearts of his friends and neighbors. Now the parrot is happy, making his listeners happy!
