Primary colors are pure unmixed colors. It is through them that all other colors are formed. The primary colors are: red, yellow and blue.
1. Paint the images below with the primary colors:
Secondary colors are those formed by combining two primary colors.
They are: orange = red + yellow combination
Green = Combination of yellow + blue
Violet or purple = red+blue combination
2.Make the combinations:
Tertiary colors are those formed by mixing a primary color with a secondary color. They are:
Red orange=combination of red +orange
Orange yellow = combination of yellow + orange
Greenish yellow = combination of yellow+green
Greenish blue = combination of green+blue
Purplish blue = combination of blue + purple
Purplish red = combination of purple + red
3.Make the combinations to find the tertiary colors:
Neutral colors are those that match any color. They are black, white and gray.
4.Paint the landscape with tertiary colors only.
5. Draw a picture and paint only with secondary colors.
6.Cut and paste designs that represent the primary and neutral colors.
