THE GOOD SOUP

ONCE IT WAS A POOR AND GODLY LITTLE GIRL WHO LIVED ALONE WITH HER MOTHER. AS THERE WAS NOTHING MORE TO EAT IN THEIR HOUSE, THE GIRL ENTERED THE FOREST IN SEARCH OF SOMETHING. IN THE FOREST SHE FOUND AN ELDERLY WOMAN WHO HAD A KNOWLEDGE OF HER POVERTY AND GAVE HIM A GIFT TO WHICH IT WAS ENOUGH TO SAY: “PANELINHA, COOK!”, SO THAT AT THE SAME TIME SHE COOKED AN EXCELLENT WELL CREAMY MILLAGE SOUP; AND WHEN SOMEONE SAID: “PANELINHA, STOP IT!”, SHE WOULD SOON STOP MAKING THE SOUP.

THE GIRL RETURNED HOME CARRYING THE PAN AND WITH THAT GIFT THE POVERTY OF THE TWO WAS ENDED, BECAUSE THE MOTHER AND DAUGHTER ATE THE GOOD SOUP FROM THE PAN WHEN THEY WANT TO, AND AS MANY AS THEY WANTED. ONCE THE GIRL HAD LEFT AND THE MOTHER SAID: “COPY PAN, COOK!”. THE PAN COOKED AND THE MOTHER ATE UNTIL SHE WAS SATISFIED; WHEN THE HUNGER ENDED, THE MOTHER WANTED THE PAN TO STOP, BUT AS SHE DID NOT KNOW WHAT NEEDED TO SAY, THE PAN CONTINUED MAKING THE SOUP AND THE SOUP OVERFLOWED, THE PAN CONTINUED AND THE SOUP DROPPED THROUGH THE KITCHEN, IT FILLED THE KITCHEN, DROPPED THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE, AND THEN INVATED THE NEIGHBORS' HOUSE, THEN THE STREET, AND IT CONTINUED ALWAYS DRAINING EVERYWHERE, AS IF THE WHOLE WORLD WOULD BE FULL OF SOUP SO THAT NO ONE ELSE WOULD FEEL HUNGER.

Yeah, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT NO ONE KNEW WHAT TO DO TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION. THE WHOLE STREET, THE OTHER STREETS, EVERYTHING FULL OF SOUP, AND WHEN IN THE WHOLE CITY THERE WAS ONLY ONE HOUSE THAT WAS NOT FULL OF SOUP, THE GIRL TURNED HOME AND SAID CALMLY: “PAN, YOU CAN STOP!”, AND THE POT STOPPED AND THE SOUP FILL HE FINISHED.

EXCEPT THAT EVERYONE WHO WANTED TO ENTER THE CITY WAS OBLIGED TO OPEN THE ROAD BY EATING THE SOUP.
