August 22 is popular culture day.

Do you know what folklore is? The word has an English origin and means “wisdom of the people”. These are traditions and customs passed down from generation to generation, which are remembered and celebrated on this day. Legends such as the headless mule; sayings such as “it's easier to have a bird in your hand than two in the bush”; songs, like “Atirei o pau no gato” and much more, who doesn't know?
