The blinkers of stars are the result of a phenomenon called by scientists of scintillation, which happens because of the displacement of light from these stars towards the Earth. This effect is because the light from the stars needs to pass through the planet's atmosphere, where there are gases that form layers that are at different temperatures and in constant motion.
