The bunny was a poor and honest worker. Like all rabbits, he was crazy about carrots. One day, he had a brilliant idea:
“It's very simple, friends. I'm leaving my current job and going to grow carrots on my grandmother's land.
No sooner said than done. Everything went as he had planned. The carrots grew normally. One, however, began to differ from the others by its color and dimensions. It grew three times faster than the others!
When the bunny harvested, he decided to offer this huge carrot to the king. He believed that his sovereign would understand his gesture.
In fact, the king of Campolândia was very grateful to receive as a gift such a wonderful sample of the wealth of his land. Knowing the bunny's poverty and good character, he offered him a large sum of money.
The wolf, envious and lazy, thought of taking advantage of royal kindness.
"If I offer the king ten, he will give me back a hundred!" he thought, very greedy.
His bad luck. The king guessed his intentions! Upon receiving the precious jewels sent by the wolf, he offered him the beautiful carrot cultivated by the bunny! What a deserved lesson the miserly wolf took!
