The film The Current of Good it was launched in the year 2000 with a budget of 40 million. It depicts the story of a teacher and his students at the beginning of the school year. Eugene Simonet is a professor of Social Studies and during his classes he challenged the students: they should develop work with the objective of changing the world. It was a proposal that instigated a more active participation in the world where they lived to make it better. Everyone brought ideas, some even interesting, others not so much. Most of them developed activities about the environment, without much innovation. One of his students, however, TrevorMcKinney, stood out, creating a game in which the person, for each favor received, had to give back to three other people, and so on. His work was based on transforming people's lives, that is, really changing the world. He called it Pay it forward.
