It doesn't matter where you live: read, listen and play with a wheel
You must know some wheel games. They mix music, dance and even a little bit of theatre. To play, children form a circle, dance and sing, while playing music that makes the fun. So imagine what's new here? The author of this book has cataloged several of them and created a literary work to show them!
Wheel and wheel: playing and singing Brazil tells how the round games are in Pernambuco, Bahia, Maranhão… Each of them created and reinvented based on a different tradition, typical of the place, and with different ways of playing, such as ciranda Pernambuco.
Are there any typical wheel games from your region in this book? Find it out! In addition to reading, you can also hear the songs played by curious instruments, cataloged at the end of the work, and sung by many voices, including those of children.
