A little mouse was roaming the fields. It was the first time he had left the house. Suddenly, he saw a rooster sitting on a roof. The mouse had never seen a rooster. When he saw the rooster's beak, feathers and red claws, he fled in fear.
The rooster saw the mouse run away and called aloud:
- Don't run, little mouse. I will not hurt you.
However, the mouse did not trust the rooster's words and kept running.
Then he saw a fat, furry cat. The cat looked very cute, so the mouse went to him and said:
– Dear friend, can I hide behind you? I'm scared of that rooster sitting there.
The cat smiled to itself and thought:
“What a silly little mouse! He is asking his enemy for help.”
He agreed to help the mouse, and when no one was watching, he devoured the mouse!
