The character starts to live like an ordinary girl until embarking on the solution of a mystery.
Dora and the Lost City, the newest mission of the character who was successful with the animated series Adventurer Dora, is very different from all other adventures of the character. In addition to the film being in format live action (ie, with real actors), in it, the girl will have to put aside her quest for mysteries to live like an ordinary young girl.
While her parents go in search of an ancient city made of gold, called Parapata, Dora must leave her life in the jungle and stay in the city where her uncles and cousin, Diego, live. There, she starts to attend school and tries, despite several confusions, to adapt to the new routine.
Dora's problems begin when, while visiting a museum, she and her new friends are kidnapped by men who want to find the lost city before her parents.
Now, the girl will have to use her knowledge of the jungle to try to save her parents and the friends who were taken with her.
