Despite walking around dirty places, cockroaches are obsessed with cleanliness and believe me: they are just as disgusted by you as you are by them! When touching a person, a cockroach will lick its legs and antennae to remove any trace of contact with this “disgusting” human being. This happens because it is through the antennae that they are able to detect the odors and chemicals present in the environment and it is through the paws that they feel the taste of food.
