Giro's costume

- Hey! Guess what day it is tomorrow! – Giro, the giraffe, exclaims at breakfast.
– Halloween! – Mom answers – There's going to be a costume contest in the city hall tonight – she adds – let's do yours right now!
Giro eats quickly, thinking hard. The ferry bell blows the whistle at the port. Suddenly he knows what he wants to be and excitedly tells Mom.
– Fantastic, Giro! – she exclaims – I think I already know how we can do it.

They get a bell, a whistle, a lifebuoy, some rope and a bunch of other things. So they start work. Soon, the costume is ready. Spin looks in the mirror.
– It's amazing, Mom! He laughs – Thank you so much!
That night, Giro joins his friends in front of the costume contest judges. They look at each other and whisper back and forth.
Soon Mr. Horse climbs onto the platform.
– Congratulations on all the great costumes. We picked a winner. And the winner is… Tink!
Spin, here's your prize!
Giro, dressed in a raft, is thrilled. He waves to Captain Vacôncia.
– Thu-hoooo! – he roars – I won!
