Lost in Space

Outside Earth, robots are man's best friend. Forty years ago, they were already fundamental in the exploration of the Moon. And they continue to be very useful in space exploration. The North American Space Agency – NASA – sent some of these versatile machines to explore Mars. Spirit and Opportunity have been on the red planet since 2004.

Despite the efforts of its scientists, NASA is far from finished exploring the red planet. Therefore, it is developing new and more modern models. The next one will land on the surface of Mars in 2012, and it already has a name: Curiosity.
