It was the first time that Maria had visited a farm. She lived in the city and didn't know what country life was like.
– Oh, my paws got dirty with mud! - She exclaimed as she passed through the gate. – Wow, this bush bothers me!
“Like this, how are we going to swim in the lake and play with the ducks?” – asked her cousin who lived on the farm.
Maria wasn't really enjoying it all, but she decided that she was going to experience what it was like to live in the country, at least for a day. Even if it was harder than she imagined…
Maria visited the orchard and vegetable garden, and smelled many different and beautiful flowers inside the greenhouse. In the afternoon, she went with her cousin to the lake, where they played with the ducks and mallards, soaked in the refreshing water, and then ran around the field near the sheep.
At the end of the day, Maria had leaves and twigs stuck to her fur, which was all brown, earthy, but she didn't care:
– I loved the walk on the farm, cousin! Getting to know this place and doing so many different things was wonderful!
