Kiko the hippo didn't like to take a bath.
- Kiko, the water is delicious - said his mother, but he didn't answer.
– What is that smell? – asked the other puppies.
It was Kiko who didn't bathe. He started to be alone, everyone moved away, except his mother.
“Nobody likes me, Mommy,” the puppy whimpered.
- No one is liking your smell, my son. It is important to bathe Kiko.
But the little hippopotamus did not give up.
One hot day, Amarílis, Kiko's friend, called him scared:
- Come on, Kiko. Your mother needs help. She is in the pond.
The hippopotamus hurried out. What would have happened to his mother?
– Amaryllis, where are you? I don't see her.
– I think you will have to enter the pond, Kiko.
He didn't want to go into the water, but he was convinced. As soon as he entered the pond, Kiko's mother appeared and managed to give him a bath. The hippopotamus saw how good it was to bathe and never ran away from the water again.
