The camel family consists of the parents and four cubs. All of them are sportsmen and they see the holidays coming with great satisfaction, as they prepare a trip from one side of the desert to the other. Four thousand kilometers, under a relentless sun and across burning sands.
At the indicated time, preparations for the adventure begin. Everyone already has their backpack, but look at that, they almost went out without their sun hat and refreshments!
Well, everything is in order and nothing is missing. The camel family sets out, walking with joy and determination.
Suddenly, papa camel stumbles over a chimpanzee's body, half buried in the sand.
— Oh! It's passed out! It must have been lost; and how far from home! Here, in the middle of the desert… I don't understand! says papa camel.
The camel family makes a difficult decision. You have to go home right away, because the chimpanzee is dehydrated and needs a doctor. You run the risk of dying.
Back home, the camel family struggles to take care of the chimpanzee. After a few days of intense fever and intense care, he begins to recover. The doctor treated him well and put him out of danger.
Well, there are still two weeks of vacation left. What to do with them? The camel family decides to go to the beach and rest. The project of crossing the Sahara will have to be postponed to the next year.
The important thing at the moment is the life and health of the chimpanzee.
