A very common bird in the countryside. Numerous flocks are also frequently seen in cities, looking for insects and small vertebrates in abandoned land and on lawns. The white anu can be found in most of Brazil, absent only in part of the Amazon. despite the look punk and the difference in beak shape, the white anu and the black anu belong to the same family: Cuculidae. Also part of this family are the cat's soul and the famous cuckoos (which are European birds and are not found in Brazil).
