The small animal, less than 25 centimeters in size, even won a day to be celebrated, the same date as the Day of the Bird, October 5th. With a rich and unspecific diet, it can be found both on the ground, looking for _____ worms and earthworms, and in fruit trees, such as a papaya or a mulberry tree. The color of its plumage is the same for males and females: the belly is rusty red, the back and wings are greyish, which can vary in tone, and the yellow beak.
Long-lived compared to other birds, the orange thrush can last between 25 and 30 years. It is common for some flocks to emigrate in winter, returning to their place of origin when temperatures begin to rise.
