Thunder rumbled. The dogs went into the house because they were afraid of the storm. Lightning struck the old oak, making a frightening noise. Then the rain began to fall in thick drops. Suddenly, there was a “knock-knock” at the door. Dudu barked, Marilyn meowed. It was the Serelepe squirrel, which took refuge under the chimney, showing the last hazelnut that was left.
- All my hazelnuts were burned with thunder. What I'll do?
"Don't worry," Marilyn soothed him. – I know the reservation here at the house! I'll bring you some. But next fall, you'll have to do yours.
