the want-want (Vanellus chilensis) is a bird well known to Brazilians. Very common, it is easy to find lovebird couples living on large lawns and soccer fields. From a distance, it is a bird that does not attract much attention, but when closely observed, the Quer-Quero reveals its beautiful colors, in addition to a spur on the wing, used for defense. They are very active, both during the day and at night. They make their nests on the ground. The cub is born with a plumage that guarantees great camouflage.
