One of the kitchen utensils that have been modernized over the years and which, today, is used not only to heat food, but also to invent meals, is the microwave oven. Popcorn, brigadeiro, lasagna, cakes, you must have already prepared these foods, very quickly, in the microwave. But how did this device come about?
Known as the new method of food preparation since the discovery of fire, the microwave uses energy to stir the water molecules in food, producing the heat needed to to cook. This energy is produced by an electronic tube called a magnetron.
