The Briar Bear is frustrated with his friends and is unhappy with the life he leads. To change course, he decides to join an almost bankrupt traveling circus, which is commanded by the gorilla Hugo. Well received by the group, he feels at home and brings new energy to the troupe's show.
With her cheerful way, Briar soon conquers new friendships and brings fame in the place. The recognition, however, could harm the bear's plans, as it creates the possibility that Briar will be found. He doesn't want to be discovered so as not to spoil his new life, which he considers perfect.
The ring's magic makes Briar not homesick, but that feeling may only last. some time... Meanwhile, Bramble, Briar's brother, and his forest friends are worried about their search. Everyone is desperate to find him and finally get him home.
