One day, a ferocious tiger pounced on an unfortunate fox and was about to make a delicious meal out of him! He opened his mouth wide, stretched out his claws and was about to take his first bite when the fox begged:
– Mighty tiger, I'm sure you believe you are the strongest and most violent beast in this forest, but I have to correct you! You are wrong! Your menacing courage cannot compare to mine!
The tiger couldn't believe what he heard! Here was a fox trying to match her power, the power of a tiger! He wanted to rip her apart, but since he wasn't very hungry, he decided to play along.
– What do you suggest fox?
The fox replied:
– Let's walk through the forest, you will see how the people of the forest tremble when they see my shadow!
The tiger agreed, and the cunning fox led him along a wide forest road. Whenever people saw the tiger from afar, they would scream and run away.
The fox whispered:
- Did you see that? One look at my sharp teeth and they're off!
The foolish tiger tucked its own tail and slunk away through the forest.
What he didn't know was that people in the forest trembled when they saw the tiger, not the little fox!
