Most of the hive is made up of worker bees. They are in charge of fetching the nectar of the flowers to make honey and combs and to feed the larvae. There is only one queen bee in the hive. She is responsible for reproduction, which ensures the existence of the group. The queen is bigger than all other bees because she is fed only royal jelly. Drones are the only males in the hive and their only function is to fertilize the queen. Worker bees and bumblebees feed on honey and pollen.
