Every day Felipe invented a lie. “Mom, grandma is on the phone!”. The mother dropped the dishes in the sink and ran into the living room. She found the phone dead.
The boy had invented the dog's death, a ten in math, a head goal in a street championship. His mother tried to scare him: “Your nose will look like Pinocchio's!”. Felipe laughed in her face: “You're the one lying! There is no one made of wood!”.
Felipe's father also talked to him: “One day you will tell a truth and no one will believe!”. Felipe was thoughtful. But the next day…
Then happened what his father had warned. Felipe was watching a program on TV. The presenter called his home phone number. Felipe had been drawn. The prize was a bicycle: “That's right, Mom! The lady wants to talk to you on the phone to arrange the bike delivery. It is true!".
Felipe's mother pretended not to hear. He continued preparing dinner in silence. Result: Felipe failed to win the award. So he started to reduce his lies. Until one day he stopped counting them. Well, Felipe grew up and became a writer. He went back to creating stories. Now, guiltless and fearless. He is currently writing a short story. It's the story of a boy who doesn't get a bike because he lied...
