Read:
One night, a wolf walked through the forest in search of food. And he had been engaged in this task for quite some time, without any practical result, when he smelled sheep in the air. “At last!” was the thought that immediately came to mind. And then, wondering what good he could find further ahead to appease the hunger he felt, he walked quickly in the direction his nose indicated.
Ahead, the trees gave way to a large area covered with grass, and it was on this patch of ground that the sheep rested, protected by a dog. The wolf didn't care about that. What he did was to go out walking step by step, as slowly as he could, trying to get closer to the point that was farthest from the lookout, where some of the possible prey were sleeping peacefully.
And he was almost there when one of his hind legs was careless for a moment and stepped on an already half-rotted piece of board. It creaked under the animal's weight, and the noise it made sounded so loud in the silence of the night that it woke the guard dog, sending him out immediately in pursuit of the clumsy wolf. That in turn, poor man, had nothing to do but run away in a wild race, hungry and without food.
Moral of the story: Those who don't pay attention to what they do will someday end up getting into trouble.
