One autumn day, the whale was playing in the sea. The shark approached and carefully circled the whale to fatally bite it. Winding, he prepared for the boat. Coming within a reasonable distance of the whale's ear, he yelled in a thin, sweet voice, quite unsuitable for a shark:
– Dear friend, allow me to play with you on this beautiful day! Let's rejoice together!
The whale looked suspicious, as shark and whale don't have good neighbors, nor the same games. But as he was good-natured, he didn't respond and didn't react. As soon as the shark got close, it bit down hard on the whale's neck. But a crust of shells and coral that clung to the whale's skin broke the shark's teeth. Weeping and bleeding, he fled in excruciating pain.
The whale calmly looked disdainfully at the naive fleeing shark and thought that angry beings are always inattentive.
