NAME:

The lost treasure of pirates

This happened a long time ago. A boy made everyone on an island exchange sadness for happiness! Spring, on that island, was always a great sadness for everyone. The island was called “Bonita”! Tomás lived near the mountains and every year he saw a large ship dock in the port. It was the terrible pirates! Every year they did the same thing. They searched the houses in search of an old lost treasure. When it came time to search Tomás' house, the pirates would laugh and say:

– It can't be there!
Tomás' house was so poor that the pirates threw almost nothing out the window. Then Tomás went to hide under the house. That's when he saw a strange buried chest. When the pirates left, he told his parents. They opened and it was a treasure! Tomás' parents shared the treasure among everyone on the island. The pirates returned the following year but found nothing. Just a happy people!
