Cockroaches don't like light and only come out at night. You will only see a cockroach during the day if there is an overpopulation or a lack of food and water. But you have to remember that for every cockroach spotted, there are dozens hidden.
Cockroaches are very lazy, spending 75% of their time sitting still. If they don't find food in the few hours they decide to move, that's okay. They can go days without eating or drinking water.
In addition, these insects are not picky about their diet. They are omnivores and will eat just about anything, including other cockroaches. They love sweets, fatty foods and animal products – such as meat, milk and cheese. But any leftover food is enough to feed them.
the species P. American loves alcoholic beverages, especially beer. Perhaps the expression “dizzy cockroach” comes from the awkward way these insects walk when they are drunk. In other words, cockroaches are drinkers.
