We selected in this post several Environmental Activities, ready to print and work with early graders. These are excellent educational suggestions for working the Environment Week, that starts on the day June 1st and runs until 5th, day that is annually celebrated the Environmental Day.
The creation of the date was in December 1972, due to a meeting promoted by UN (United Nations), in order to address environmental issues, which encompass the planet, better known as the United Nations conference.
The importance of the date is due to the discussions that open about air, soil and water pollution; logging; reduction of biodiversity and drinking water for human consumption, destruction of the ozone layer, destruction of plant and forest species, extinction of animals, among others.
