Once upon a time, a prince was born who was no bigger than the palm of his mother's hand! He was called Palmiro. He was a friendly little boy who kept himself busy playing with the little creatures that lived in the palace gardens. He played ball with butterflies, ran with caterpillars, rode squirrels and talked to flowers.
The Queen Mother began to worry about him. Would my little boy not grow more?
One day, she was very happy to see that Palmiro had grown another centimeter. Upon checking his food, she noticed that he had eaten peas that day. The Queen Mother started feeding him peas for breakfast, lunch and dinner! She made him pea sandwiches for afternoon tea. She made pea soup at dusk. She even baked a pea cake for him! Soon, Palmiro started to get very tall.
Before long, he was walking with his head in the clouds and they had to change his name to Nuvêncio!
