THE NEW FARM RESIDENT

The farm animals were excited about the arrival of the new resident, Pipo the rooster.

- At last we will have a rooster to crow in the morning. I can't stand losing time anymore to take your puppies to school - said the duck.

- I'm sure this Pipo is very brave and will take care of the fox that is taking our eggs - said the hen.

When Pipo arrived, the animals threw a big welcome party in the barn for him, the rooster was even startled by the warm welcome.

The next morning, the duck missed the time as usual and the fox continued to get the eggs. Pipo was still sleeping, and the animals went to explain the importance he had as a rooster on the farm.

– A rooster must sing to wake up the other animals and he also needs to protect the henhouse, Pipo. His tasks are very important to us - explained the hen.

Gradually, the rooster began to wake up at dawn to crow and protect the chicken coop. After that, he put laziness aside.
