the friendship cards

It's friend's day! Across the island of Fireflies, villagers are busy handing out cards, flowers and gifts.
- Happy Friend's Day! – They want each other.
The hippopotamus Horacio and the giraffe Giro started early and finished their deliveries quickly.
“Let's see if you won any,” Horacio says to Giro. They run to Giro's house and find a stack of cards and a small box by the door.

'Let's see if you won too,' suggests Giro, smiling, and takes his presents to Horacio's house.
- Let's open! – Horacio exclaims, and then they enter.
They stack the cards and boxes on the kitchen table.
– Wow! - Exclaims Giro, opening the box first. – It's daddy and mommy! Look! A racing car miniature! Whooooooooo! - He plays.
– Yeah, look at this! – Exclaims Horacio. He takes a jump rope out of his box. – I'll be able to train like the guys on TV! - He says. Horacio tries to jump the rope.
He will have to practice a little until he gets good at it.
They sit on the floor looking at all the cards, eating all the sweets inside them at the same time.
At the end of the afternoon, the two friends feel a little unwell. All the bullets disappeared into their tummy.
– I love Friend's Day… – Sighs Giro.
- Me either. I'm already waiting for next year's… – Says Horacio, stroking his aching belly.
