NAME:

snow sculptures

The village is all covered in snow now. Friends are in hiding.
– What could we do today? – the snake Silvia asks.
– Let's make a snowman in the sculpture garden, next to our wooden statues – suggests the Babi sheep.
– Oh, snowmen are boring… What if each one of us made a snow creature that looked like us? – Silvia asks – Right next to our wooden statues?
– The last one to arrive at the sculpture garden is a spoiled egg! - Babi shouts, and everyone runs.

When they get there, making little clouds of hot air with their mouths, they keep looking. The brightly painted wooden sculptures stand out against the accumulated white snow.
– All right, let's get started – the Babi sheep commands.
They begin to shape the snow creatures, laughing and throwing snowballs as they work.
- Look at me! – calls the hippopotamus Horace after some time.
He makes a perfect snow “hippo”. Horacio placed his blue scarf around his neck.
Suddenly, the snow hippo's head falls off.
- Oh no! I lost my mind! – laments Horacio.
He starts to laugh. Friends rush to help him rebuild the snow hippo's head. Soon, the sculpture garden is full of creatures: wood, snow and real.
There are three hippos, three giraffes, three snakes, three sheep, three dinosaurs and six zebras! Each snow sculpture comes with its own scarf.
Mr. Ptero runs out of his variety store with a camera.
– I need to register this! - He laughs and takes a great photo to mark the occasion.
