The woolly monkey has very specific physical characteristics, such as a well-rounded head of fur short (no more than a centimeter) and the fur on the belly long and dark (hence the impression of paunchy).
On average, they weigh 7 kilos, but individuals weighing 10 have already been found. They rarely go down to the ground. That is, they prefer to be and rest in the tallest trees in the dense forest.
In general they roam in flocks of up to 20 individuals, duly balanced in the number of males and females. But they can also be divided into subgroups, which have around 7 monkeys.
