The boy Sawyer, only 11 years old, found by chance a dolphin stranded on the sand of the beach, caught in a fishing net. After seeing the rescue of the animal completed by the marine hospital in his city, Clearwater (Florida), he is attracted to know more about the fate of the poor animal and goes to the place to visit him. There, he meets the person in charge of the place, Dr. Clay, and his daughter, and begin a new friendship. What they didn't know was that the animal would recognize Sawyer and establish an incredible connection with him, decisive for his improvement and the possibility of continuing to live.
