Every weekend, the mountaineering squirrels would gather to climb the mountains in the forest, and the Turtle Teca, who was very friendly with them, was delighted to see the little ones climbing those walls of rock.
– Why don't you climb with us. Teak? asked one of the squirrels.
- I would love! But I think I'm too slow, it would take me a week to do what you do in a day - explained the turtle.
But the truth is that Teca dreamed of being a climber, like his squirrel friends.
The squirrels realized that Teca really wanted to climb with them, so the little ones decided to surprise the turtle. They chose a very small mountain in the forest and took Teca to climb.
– We have all the time in the world to wait for you, Teca. Take it easy on yourself,” said one of the squirrels.
- Wow! That was the best gift I ever got – said Teca.
The tortoise loved the surprise of the squirrels and was happy to know that he had such smart friends.
