Your body is an extremely complex and precisely regulated machine. It takes a lot of attention to make it run smoothly 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for about 70 years (usually) non-stop! Two-thirds of the body is made up of water. This is eliminated (a few glasses a day) by sweating and going to the bathroom, and needs to be replaced regularly. In reality, it is possible to survive without food for weeks, but without water you would only last a few days. Water also helps you look healthy and is extremely beneficial to the body.
