A strong bond that unites your entire family. Thus, Larissa defines Obra do Berço, an association that welcomed her when she was 2 years old and that also housed many of her uncles and all of her three brothers. When she arrived, Larissa was welcomed by the Ana Claudina Child Education Center. At age 7, she moved to CCA NOVA, the center for children and teenagers, where she took theater and art classes and learned how to play percussion. Finally, when she was 15 years old, she participated in the Youth Entrepreneurship and Education Program, the PEEJ. “At graduation, a teacher asked me to write a text. There, I told about everything I had experienced at the NGO, about the importance it had in my life”, she says. The school term ended, but Larissa did not leave Obra do Berço. “Today, I teach percussion lessons to children at the NGO and I treasure all the notes I receive from my students. I will take this experience forever.”.
