NAME:
Forced by thirst, an ant descended into a stream; dragged by the current she found herself on the verge of drowning.
A dove that was on a branch of a tree saw the urgency: it took a twig from the tree, approached the stream and reached the ant that climbed the branch and saved itself.
The ant, very grateful, assured her new friend that if something happened she would return the favor, even though she was so small. The dove could not imagine how the ant could be of use to her.
A short time later, a bird hunter spotted the dove and aiming at it with a rifle about to kill it, he was waiting for the right moment. Seeing the danger the dove was in, the ant quickly entered the hunter's boot and pricked his ankle, causing him to drop his weapon.
The quick moment was used by the dove to take flight, and so the ant was able to return the favor to its friend.
Moral of the story:Someone can always help each other, even if there is a huge difference in size. Help cannot be overlooked, however small it may seem.
