This juvenile classic that has been sold out in Brazil for a long time now has a pocket edition with illustrations by Maurício Veneza. “A House in the Forest” chronicles the adventures of Laura Ingalls' family for young people of all ages. The book highlights the story of little Laura, who lives with her parents and sisters, Mary and Carrie, in a modest wooden house on the edge of a large Wisconsin forest. At age four, Laura is smart and curious, and her family's adventures across the Midwestern United States are told from the girl's point of view. Laura Ingalls Wilder's work inspired the television adaptation “Os Pioneers” (a series aired by the TCM channel in Brazil). This is the first volume in the “Little House” series, which has been translated into over forty languages ​​and has become a classic of American children's literature.
