NAME:
A lion, tired from so much hunting, slept stretched out under the good shade of a tree.
Some mice came walking on him, and he woke up.
All but one managed to escape, because the lion had him under its paw!
The mouse begged and begged so much that the lion gave up crushing it and let it go.
Some time later, the lion got caught in the net of some hunters.
As the lion could not get loose, the great animal made the whole forest tremble with its howls of rage.
Suddenly, the mouse appeared, and with its sharp teeth, gnawed the ropes and released the lion.
Moral: One good deed wins another.
