The peaceful and cozy Soledade de Minas is located in the extreme south of the state, 390 km from Belo Horizonte.
In a rugged relief, the landscape is shaped by valleys and mountains on the slopes of Rio Verde and Ribeirão Paiol. In addition to its fascinating natural beauty, the city has rare wild animals.
The municipality is part of a region known as Circuito das Águas, where, as the name implies, hydromineral resorts are located.
One of the biggest tourist attractions in Soledade de Minas is the Trem das Águas, which departs from São Lourenço on an exuberant route along the banks of the Verde River.
