You must have noticed, in recent days, the amount of photos of “children” that popped up on social networks. This does not mean that the world is more fertile, but that Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the application remini is being used a lot.
Remini, available for iOS and Android, uses photos of you and, with a sophisticated algorithm, manages to “predict” what your child will look like in the future. To do this, it captures some striking features of your face – such as the size of your eyes and nose and skin tone – and generates an image.

If you are curious to know what your child will look like, read on and find out how to generate these images in a few minutes!
While this is Remini's most popular feature right now, it's not the only feature. In fact, one of its strongest points is improving the quality of old or damaged photos using a technique called “deep learning”.
This software technique analyzes the image for data patterns. Using AI, it uses this visual information to improve quality and fix minor flaws.

Before we get started, let's answer a recurring question: do you have to pay to make these images in Remini? The answer is: it depends on the device and if this is your first time using the app.
On some Android devices, it is necessary to pay BRL 15 to generate the images. In iPhones, if you've never used Remini, you can generate a limited amount of photographs for a period of three days. After that, you will have to subscribe to the Pro version of the app.
