The vast majority of Black Falls' population works at Black Box Unlimited Worldwide Industries Incorporated, whose Black Box device has become a worldwide rage. However, this situation barely affects Toe Thompson, an 11-year-old boy who just wants to have some friends. One day, he finds a rainbow-colored rock that has mysteriously fallen from the sky. From then on, everything changes for Toe, as the stone allows the wishes of whoever holds it to be fulfilled. Soon, it runs around the neighborhood, becoming dangerous when it gets into the hands of adults.
