With a mild climate, Presidente Bernardes is a typical historic inland town. About 121 km from Belo Horizonte, the municipality of Minas Gerais is a delightful place to visit.
Its delicious waterfalls are refreshment for the body and soul. The Zé Bento Waterfall has riparian forest and its banks are used for camping. Widely used for swimming, it is one of the best known in the city.
In addition, the city has old farms built in colonial style. The Igreja Matriz de Santo Antônio, built in the 20th century, has two side towers flanked by stained glass windows and various images painted on the walls and ceiling.
