The sock puppet theater

Tonight, the puppet theater is set up in the city hall. Everyone is looking forward to seeing the play that the children have prepared.
The friends have their own sock puppets in their hands.
- Help! I'm stuck in the mud! – says Giro, the giraffe imitating Grandpa Dino.
– I'll call mine to help you! – screams the dinosaur Dino.
All the friends come running and Grandpa ties a rope to the toy tractor. The puppets grab the rope and pull.


- One two! One two! One two! – they scream.
The tractor slides out and slowly comes out of the mud.
- Hey! We did it! – celebrate the children.
- Thank you very much! – exclaims Grandpa Dino in Giro's voice.
- You're welcome! - Dino answers.
- End! – he announces.
All dolls bow. But as they bow, the little theater leans forward. It falls, breaking, and leaves the kids looking out at the audience.
For a moment, silence. Then the adults start laughing and applauding.
– What a funny piece! – Mr. Horse says.
He holds a medal on a red ribbon, like in the Olympics.
– For the powerful and brilliant acting and for making us laugh! – Mr. Horse reads on the medal.
Then he hangs a medal around each of his little friends' necks. Residents applaud and celebrate mad deeds.
