Right at the most beautiful time of spring, Aninha got sick and had to stay in bed. The sun was shining in the sky and her friends were playing in the garden. They certainly forgot me, thought Aninha, and buried her little face in the pillow. Suddenly, she rang the doorbell and Rosi, Toninho, Lena, Jorge and Pedro came to visit her.
'Too bad you can't play with us,' they lamented. – That's why we brought you something.

Rosi had picked a colorful bouquet of flowers, Toninho gave her a jar with half a dozen ladybugs, Jorge he hung a painting about spring on the wall, which he had painted, and Lena presented her with a tin and she said:
– In this tin I trapped the rivers of Sol for you. They will help you heal.
Only Pedro was not present and was standing, a little embarrassed, in a corner of the room. After a while, everyone said goodbye. Pedro was the only one not to leave, because, in the meantime, a gift also occurred to him. He took a book from Aninha's bookshelf, sat down beside her bed, and read her a story. Aninha settled happily on her bed and listened attentively. Two days later, he was healthy again. And he also picked flowers, sunbeams and watched the ladybugs.
